Your dental care and the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Under the current Level 3 restrictions (Melbourne Metropolitan Area and Mitchell Shire), we are open and all residents residing in the lockdown areas are able leave their homes to seek medical care. This includes undergoing care for dental and oral health problems.
If you reside outside of the lockdown area, you are also still able to travel to our practice to attend your appointment.
Your safety and care is of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that our premises are subject to stringent infection control protocols, and in addition we are also carrying out all recommended environmental sanitation procedures. In clinical areas, infection control procedures are being carried out to the highest available standards. In addition, for your personal protection, any clinical procedures are carried out with the use of rubber dam to minimize production of aerosols.
Please exercise all appropriate hygiene precautions when attending, which include:
- Washing hands thoroughly/use hand sanitising gel
- Hygiene around coughing
- Do not bring unnecessary extra people to the appointment if possible.
However, if you do feel unwell, or exhibit any of the following symptoms:
- Sore throat
- Runny nose
Please call us on 9650 4209 and we can reschedule your appointment for a minimum of 14 days, or until your symptoms have fully resolved.
If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please feel free to contact us on 9650 4209
